To get started, please understand the following below:
Equipment: You must own your own equipment.
- Semis
- Box Trucks( 26”and more with liftgate and pallet jack)
- Flatbed
- Step decks
- Hotshots (30-40ft)
- Dry vans
- Reefers
- RGNs
- 16ft to 20ft Box Trucks
- Anything less that 30ft trailers
- One-time Cost: $300
- Monthly Fee: $35
Insurance premiums vary based on the driver’s record and the type of equipment being used.
- Insurance Down Payment (must be paid upfront by the owner operator initially, monthly insurance will be deducted from the gross moving forward).
- Monthly Insurance Cost: Insurance premiums are due once per month, typically within the same week each month. Subsequently, for each month following the commencement date, the Owner Operator shall make a monthly insurance payment, with the payment to be deducted the first week of every month.
- Lease Fee: 4%
- Dispatch Fee: 8%
- Factoring Fee: 3.25%
Over-the-Road (OTR) Travel: Must be willing to travel OTR.
